I replied to this e-mail because I am aware that there are legitimate “shoppers” companies. When they responded to my reply I knew something wasn’t right. They informed me they would send me a check for $975.01 of which I would keep $75.00 for my shopping services. They said they would send a bank certified check for this amount which I would cash at my bank.I know people don’t send ckecks to someone for that amount without more personal info. This is my first encounter with a scam & I am trying to inform the proper authorities.

I received this e-mail today and immediately googled the name and company. I had to chuckle when I discovered the real Thomas Bode.

He was NIGERIAN politician. Scammer has a sense of humor.
